Ṣàngó represents raw, explosive power, masculine energy, and swift justice. Historically, he was the third Alaafin of the Ọ̀yọ́ Empire, whose reign was marked by immense magical prowess and eventual deification.
Thunder and Lightning
He wields the osé (double-headed axe) and speaks through the roar of thunder. Ṣàngó punishes thieves, liars, and hypocrites with lightning, ensuring moral integrity and courage.
